USC Suspends Fraternity Rush

A student drank so much he became "unresponsive" at a fraternity recruitment party and was taken to a hospital by ambulance, one of six drinking-related violations that occurred this week as students returned to the University of South Carolina.

As a result, USC has suspended fraternity rush while school officials call meetings with Greek advisers and students to discuss what they consider a blas? attitude about alcohol on campus.
