LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - Classic cars took center stage at the Mike Raisor Automotive Group.
The 7th annual charity car show kicked off in Lafayette Friday night. Money raised at the event will go toward the Lyn Treece Boys and Girls Club and Lafayette Cancer Care.
Owner Mike Raisor said the best part of the event is helping out good causes.
"Every year it grows and it grows in a different way. It grows because part of the community that gets involved in it becomes more involved in it. And the greatest thing that happens is all the funds go to some worthy cause every year," Raisor said.
The car show continues on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. in the Mike Raisor Automotive Service Bays on Sagamore Parkway South.
There's a $10.00 car entry fee, but if you're just stopping by to admire the cars, the event is free.
The cars on display are expected to be at Dancing in the Streets as well.
