Sub Junior National Badminton Championships: Kanishq Mishra ousts Amol Karkare in qualifying round
India?s budding shuttler Kanishq Mishra continued his winning run in Boy?s Singles U15 qualifying round as he defeated Amol Karkare in a dominating fashion at the 26th Sub Junior National Badminton Championships 2012 in Patna, India, on Sunday, December 2.
The in-form Kanishq, who has been showing a good commitment for the last few months, played in an aggressive manner and remained successful in beating his country-mate in just 23 minutes.
Kanishq was in remarkable form in the arena as he showed no mercy to his rival on court all the way and remained successful in winding up the contest in straight games with a killing margin on the score board.
On the other hand, Amol failed to show his elevated craft in the arena as he could not put up strong show and eventually crashed out the qualifying round stage without creating a strong impact.
In the starting set of the match, the positive play and powerful strokes of Kanishq assisted him to take charge of rallies without facing any considerable trouble from his challenger.
The impressive Kanishq proved his worth in the arena and eventually remained successful in taking a strong domination on court at the early stage.
Kanishq proceeded with a stunning speed in the opening set of first game and he easily managed a spectacular lead until the one-minute break.
After the break, Amol tried his best to play attacking badminton but he could not take the bird timely and remained struggling all the way in the concluding half.
In the meanwhile, Kanishq remained calm and composed and he did not commit unforced errors on court.
His patience and impressive speed created a huge difference between both shuttlers and he managed to win the opening game with a superb 21-13 score on the board.
In the second game, Amol tried his best to play positive and fast badminton but he could not take over the control from his rival and again remained struggling until the end of opening half.
After the break, the incredible Kanishq continued his flawless play in the arena without showing any mercy to his rival and took the second game with a stunning margin of 21-14
Kanishq emerged as the winner in this Boy?s Singles U15 battle against Amol as he easily registered his mark in the arena with a striking 21-13 and 21-14 score on the board.
