Product Creation Tips ? What's The Deal With Kindle?

I guess unless you?ve been living under a rock, you?ve heard of Kindle. I know I have. In fact, just recently, I decided to do something about it. What about you? Not sure if Kindle product creation is right for you? Don?t know how to go about it? Well, this article will give you some nuts and bolts so that you can make an informed decision.

Kindle is Amazon?s content distribution platform and reader, more or less. The concept is simple. You create a book, upload it to Amazon?s site, set some parameters and you?re done. Well, maybe it?s not that simple, but that?s the gist of it. And then after your book is uploaded, prospects who are into Kindle reading browse through the marketplace, find your book (hopefully) and buy it.

Sounds simple doesn?t it? The truth is, Kindle is VERY simple. But deciding whether or not to use it comes down to more than just simplicity. See, Kindle has something over other platforms that makes selling products through it a lot easier than trying to put up your own sales page and driving traffic to it. We all know what a pain in the butt that is, not to mention how little love we get from Google when trying to pull this off.

With Amazon, you have three things in your favor. I?m going to go over each one of them now.

First off, you have Google and Amazon. They have a pure love relationship. Yes, the big G loves the big A. So anything you put on Amazon is going to get a heck of a lot more love than your own sales page that you?ll have to slave over for months to get up the SERPs. So you have a built in advantage by using Amazon.

Secondly, Amazon themselves will help you promote your book, provided you do certain things to help it along. The reason they will help you promote it is because Kindle is their baby and if YOU make money, THEY make money. So it is in their best interests to help get your product to be a best seller.

Finally, Kindle is still fairly new, so there isn?t a lot of competition. It?s much easier to get your book ranked between 10,000 and 50,000 at Amazon than it is to get it ranked that high through your own sales page and Google.

So, when you take all these things into account, publishing your book through Amazon (yes, you WILL be a published author) is a lot easier and more rewarding than trying to go it alone.

Now, having said all this, you still have to create a quality product and it has to be approved by the big A. Yes, if they don?t like it, they won?t allow you to upload it. That?s all there is to that. So a lot of these crappy books that are just thrown together wouldn?t stand a chance in the marketplace.

However, if you think you?re up for it, the advantages of Kindle publishing are significant. And, if you don?t even know how to create your own product, don?t sweat it. Just check out my signature and you?ll get all the info that you need on the subject of product creation.

What?s the deal with Kindle? Actually, it?s quite a GOOD deal.

To YOUR Success,
